Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Residential Assisted Living team. The CNA will provide direct care and support to our residents, helping them with daily activities, personal care, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.

Monitor residents' health, report any changes in condition to Administrator, and assist with basic health care tasks.

Provide mobility assistance, including transfers, walking assistance, and repositioning.

Ensure that residents are comfortable, safe, and have their needs met throughout the day.

Help with housekeeping and maintaining a clean, pleasant environment.

Assist with medications and treatments as prescribed under the direction of the medical provider.

Document and maintain accurate records of residents’ care, condition, and progress.

Build strong relationships with residents and their families to promote comfort and well-being.

Prepare, cook, and serve meals and snacks for residents.

Launder resident clothing and bedding.

Qualifications:

Current CNA certification in New Mexico or in school for CNA.

Previous experience in an assisted living, long-term care, or similar healthcare setting is preferred.

Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing excellent care.

Ability to follow instructions, handle emergencies, and manage multiple tasks.

Basic knowledge of medical terminology and infection control procedures.

Ability to lift and move residents as needed.

Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
