Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including home care, hospice care, and geriatrics. This role requires a strong understanding that ensure patient comfort and safety.

Duties

Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
Support patients in mobility and physical activities as needed.
Utilize basic life support techniques when required.
Maintain a clean and safe environment by following aseptic techniques.
Communicate effectively with family and our office regarding patient conditions.
Document patient care activities accurately in compliance with medical protocols.

Requirements

Previous experience in home care settings is preferred.
Experience working with geriatric populations is desirable.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
Experience in patient care, or senior care is highly desirable.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.50 - $23.50 per hour

Do you have experience caring for someone with Alzheimer's?
Do you have experience with the Hoyer lift or gait belt?
Knowledge of home community care practices and working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
Ability to perform light cleaning duties as part of maintaining a safe environment.
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
Compassionate nature combined with patience and understanding.
Ability to lift clients safely when needed, adhering to proper lifting techniques.
Familiarity with meal preparation that meets nutritional needs.
